Empowering Women 2011

Why stop now? Following the success of our Empowering Women series launched in 2010, we are continuing with our aim of empowering the women of this region in 2011, with four fantastic, motivating and inspiring workshops planned over the next nine months. This year the focus shifts from strictly financial empowerment to a more personal and people focused empowerment. We will be including active workshops and at each session there will be an inspirational guest speaker to challenge you and ignite the spark within you.

Join us for the complete series, or choose individual sessions to attend. This is a seldom presented opportunity in South Canterbury for self-empowerment that has the potential to make a difference to your future. And of course, you will get to meet and mix with a range of South Canterbury women who are ready to be empowered too.

Performance Management for Women
One of the biggest challenges in any business or community environment, is managing your staff and discovering the secrets to getting the best performance from your team. In this session, we take this concept a little further, out of the business environment and into the community, where women are often found running committees and voluntary groups, immersed in the fundraising that is critical to their communities. You will gain an insight and some valuable ideas into how to manage your staff, your committee members or your voluntary groups, to achieve the best results for all concerned.
