South Canterbury's own anniversary day celebration featuring over 100 quality market stalls, trade exhibits, fantastic live music, entertainment and displays the whole family will love, yummy food and wine and a great fun-filled holiday vibe, all set in Winchester's picturesque domain. Let's Celebrate South Canterbury brings the people of South Canterbury together on their district's "birthday" and it will be the second time the event has been held. The inaugural Let's Celebrate South Canterbury held on Monday 24 September 2012 was a great success with the crowd giving the event a resounding "thumbs up". This free event offers visitors a great opportunity to pick up some fantastic early Christmas presents from the fantastic variety of stalls located around the venue offering everything from local handmade confectionery, handcrafts, garden ornaments, corrugated iron planters, wooden sculpture, , locally grown trees and plants, condiments, artisan cheeses, collectables, jewellery, hats, unique clothing designs, locally produced merino garments, books and cards, fantastic local art works and much much more. Let's Celebrate South Canterbury is a kids-friendly event with miniature horse rides, merry go round rides, bouncy castles, magic shows, and in 2013 some great kite flying demonstrations plus some still to be announced attractions. Welcome to the!
2013 marks the fourth year of an exclusive country fete in the small boutique town of Geraldine. The Geraldine Summer Fete aims to bring a selection of New Zealand's finest home, garden & lifestyle products together with the area's quality local produce for a day of indulgence and elegance held at a spectacular South Canterbury property.
This year the fete will be held on Thursday the 7th November 2012 from 10am-4pm at Stover Farm on State Highway 72, Geraldine, this unique shopping opportunity will be a sensational day out for all, so bring your friends and family along and enjoy!
