This event takes place entirely inside Timaru’s Centennial Park – well known locally as the Scenic Reserve. This race has been created in response to the exploding interest in mountain biking in the Timaru area, thanks to the Timaru District Council and the South Canterbury Mountainbike Club who have created heaps of new MTB tracks throughout the park.

Funds raised from this ride will go towards track maintenance and further track development. And the event is supported by the club and all three cycling outlets in Timaru - The Cylery, Howes Cylces and Reiker Cycles..

The ride is a buzz for single trackers with a 13 km circuit going over the newest and best single track in this part of the country.

The event will have three races (each course has been modified to suit the rider capability
