Pink Ribbon Womens Duathlon Sunday, 14 September 2008  [ From 10am ]
Take up the challenge and enter the Pink Ribbon Women´s Duathlon.

This is a fun, relaxed event involving running (or walking) and cycling (no swimming involved!) for participants of all abilities and ages (from 8 to 108.). It is a flat but challenging course and will prove a test for everyone, from elite athletes to absolute newbies.

A major focus is on participation, and as such there are no first prizes, but heaps of spot prizes.

You’ll be thrilled at what you can achieve by participating in a duathlon - yes you can do it!.

And a portion of every entry fee goes to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation to help provide FREE community education, research, medical grants and scholarships, seminars, a breast cancer patient register as well as advocacy. Sea 2 Sea Physical Activity Challenge Monday, 29 September 2008  [ 30 minutes or more a day ]
The Sea 2 Sea Challenge will start Monday September 29 and finish on Push Play Day (November 7). It involves employees being physically active together to complete the virtual distance of 240km from Sea 2 Sea in six weeks. Just 30mins a day is all it takes. 30mins = 3km … It is easy!!
