| SPECTACULAR VIEWS The spectacular view that greets you when you walk into each unit sets Timaru's new motel Bay Viaduct (opened Dec 02) apart from the rest. LOCATION The Motor Lodge is just a couple of minutes walk from Caroline Bay, Timaru's cafes, bars, restaurants and central business area. Situated in a prime position on the main highway at the base of Wai-iti Road (always known as the Bay Viaduct corner before the motorway), Bay Viaduct is easy to find for the visiting guest and locals alike. All units are double glazed, so the great view and prime location are not tainted by road noice. Additionally each unit has its own patio where guests can sit in the summer sun, take in the spectacular views and admire Timaru at its best. All units are non-smoking but guests may smoke out on the balcony if required. The units are a visual feast. Mediterranean earth colours adorn the walls and furnishings - transposed beautifully against the sea views resplendent from each room. Each unit has a spacious free flowing feel, perfect for families or executives seeking quality accommodation. Four two bedroom units and one one bedroom unit provide the ultimate luxury experience for the family away from home. Executive suites include two ground floor accessible units which exhibit the same luxury and make up of the rest of the motor lodge. The honeymoon suites are the perfect treat for a couple seeking luxury for just a night away for that special occasion. Double spa baths invite you into the bathroom, adding to the already luxurious feel of the units. After unwinding in a long bath, slipping into a king size bed is a perfect way to end your day. Even though some of Timaru's finest restaurants are only short walk away, each unit has kitchen facilities with a microwave for the guest opting to cook for themselves. Alternatively guests can enjoy room service or chargeback facilities available from selected restaurants. The next morning a cooked or continental breakfast is a reviving way to start your day. Executive guests will appreciate the workstation, with internet access. An internet kiosl at reception is also available for guests. Entertainment is ample at Bay Viaduct with Sky TV, Video and DVD available. Guests are also provided with a mini-bar, hair dryer and ironing facilities within each unit. Also a guest laundry.
